Happy Fall! It's hard to believe it is the end of October already! This month flew! It was so great seeing all of you at Parent-Teacher Conferences yesterday morning and Thursday afternoon and evening. Thank you for taking the time to come and chat about how your child is doing in school. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
The students continue to practice their learning every day. We are practicing forming, reading, and writing simple words, sentences, and paragraphs. The children are reading classroom, library, leveled books, "RAZ Kids," "Funbrain," and listening to me read books to them. Students are practicing adding and subtracting, working on "IXL" and "Everyday Math" games, learning about the night sky, and learning about their world.
This coming week CPS is having their dress up days, an all school assembly, the Halloween parade, and class Halloween parties. It is also the end of the first Trimester this coming Friday.
Children will take their last Fundations test (Unit 4) and last Math Test (Unit 3) for the Trimester. The students will continue to work on their Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies skills throughout each day of the week. Have a "SPOOKTACULAR" week! Love, Mrs. Zimmermann
